The Tuff Stuff roof top tent sliding installation bracket slides into the bottom of your roof top tent mounting rail to secure the mounting bolt that goes through the flat lower mounting bracket which secures your tent to your vehicle's load bars/crossbars/roof rack.
These plates are commonly stripped out due to overtightening during installation, or easily misplaced during the removal of your tent.
